K-Rock Tha Fantom, one-third of San Diego hip hop group, Far From Ya Average, and a solo artist in his own right, branches out of the genre that has defined his career and teams up with metal powerhouse, Chiva, to form DISMEMBERED CONSTELLATIONS. Recorded during the coronavirus lockdown, Isolation expresses the feelings of hopelessness, chaos and a bleak future that so many of us felt during those couple years. With Chiva's soaring guitar mastery and K-Rock Tha Fantom's shape-shifting vocal delivery, Isolation proves to be a trip for your mind and a feast for the ears.
Singer and lyricist, Kenneth Erwin, hails from San Diego, CA. This two-time San Diego Music Award nominated artist began his musical journey as a producer and MC for hip hop supergroup, Far From Ya Average, and continued as solo artist, K-Rock Tha Fantom. He has also dabbled in alternative and trip hop through his collaboration with JayTwo as FantomOpra.
Guitarist Hector Perez, also known as Chiva, hails from Orange County and is a founding member of progressive death metal group, Abusement Park.
Dismembered Constellations, a play on Cake's "Frank Sinatra" lyric, is K-Rock Tha Fantom branching out into his other great love...METAL! Chiva provides the brutal assault and melodic guitar mastery needed to complete the transformation. This is a partnership made in heaven...or hell if you prefer.
