Daygo Nation Records (a subsidiary of Hypebomb Records) presents: ROGUE BEAST

In 2018, Hypebomb executive, K-Rock Tha Fantom, noting the lack of availability of some of his favorite local classic hip hop albums, developed an idea of remastering and re-releasing said albums worldwide in an effort to give the san diego artist and their amazing projects their due exposure. Thus, Daygo Nation Records was born, specializing in what would be now known as the "Hypebomb SD Classics Series". One of the debut trilogy of albums given this illustrious title would be Lecture One's "Rogue Beast".

For those lucky enough to find a rare hard copy in a San Diego record shop, "Rogue Beast" treated it's listeners to music with a healthy nod to early work of the legendary Masters Of The Universe crew, as well as, playful and insightful tracks throughout it's runtime. The production was second to none and it set a very high lyrical bar. If you grew up in San Diego in the 90's, this would be in your headphones, riding the trolley downtown from east county...no question.
