Daygo Nation Records (a subsidiary of Hypebomb Records) presents: THE NOVEL EXPERIMENT

In 2018, Hypebomb executive, K-Rock Tha Fantom, noting the lack of availability of some of his favorite local classic hip hop albums, developed an idea of remastering and re-releasing said albums worldwide in an effort to give the san diego artist and their amazing projects their due exposure. Thus, Daygo Nation Records was born, specializing in what would be now known as the "Hypebomb SD Classics Series". One of the debut trilogy of albums given this illustrious title would be Tha Element AKA Supastar's "The Novel Experiment"

A lot of hip hop fans may not have seen this album making its rounds through the streets of SD, when it was originally released as a hard copy eco-sleeve, since it's creator relocated to the Seattle area. The artwork had a very elegant look with a great caption at the bottom which read "A Complete Collection Of Masterpieces". When you pressed play, any preconceived notions you may have had that you were about to enter a fancy theater with a tuxedo and a bow tie were shattered with a blistering introduction, equal parts gritty cadence and clever punchlines. As the album takes different turns from deep and thoughtful to classic trunk thumpers, Tha Element AKA Supastar let's you know exactly who he is and what he's capable of. By the time you reach the end and he sings "You ain't gotta go home..." on one of his two outros, you won't want to anyways! You'll be feenin for that encore!
