Daygo Nation Records (a subsidiary of Hypebomb Records) presents: THE UNDERGROUND EP

In 2018, Hypebomb executive, K-Rock Tha Fantom, noting the lack of availability of some of his favorite local classic hip hop albums, developed an idea of remastering and re-releasing said albums worldwide in an effort to give the san diego artist and their amazing projects their due exposure. Thus, Daygo Nation Records was born, specializing in what would be now known as the "Hypebomb SD Classics Series". One of the second phase trilogy of albums given this illustrious title would be Bottom Of Cali's "The Underground EP".

Before he made a big splash as one third of San Diego supergroup Far From Ya Average, Stryve was the anchor of a local hip hop collective by the name of Bottom Of Cali or B.O.C. for short. Known as Luny back then, he set out to combine the talents of some of San Diego's best MC's including the one and only Silhouette of "I Gots The Fonk" fame. If you were walking the streets of SD, you may have been able to pick up a copy of this out of a trunk somewhere. That classic west coast sound is well represented here!
